Walking
From the center of Göreme, head east on Müze Cd. (Museum Street) towards the junction with Avcılar Cd. (Avcılar Street). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Uçhisar Cd. (Uçhisar Road). At this point, you can either continue straight or take a slight left onto Uçhisar Cd. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Zelve Open Air Museum. The museum entrance will be on your right. The walk should take around 20-30 minutes.

From Göreme, head to the bus station located near the town center. Look for a bus heading towards Avanos. These buses typically run every 30 minutes. The fare is usually around 15 TL (Turkish Lira). Inform the driver that you want to get off at Zelve Open Air Museum. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the museum entrance which is a short walk from the bus stop.
