Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Göreme, head south on Uzundere Street towards the direction of the bus station. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the main road (Highway D300). Turn left onto D300 and walk for approximately 200 meters until you see the sign for Mustafapaşa. Follow the signs, and after about 1.5 kilometers, you will enter Mustafapaşa. Once in Mustafapaşa, turn right onto Gazi Street, and walk for about 300 meters. The Cappadocia Art & History Museum will be on your left at Gazi Sk. No:4.

    From Göreme, walk to the bus station, which is located at the eastern end of town. Look for a minibus heading to Ürgüp. The ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Ürgüp, get off at the main bus stop. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Mustafapaşa. If walking, head south on Atatürk Boulevard, then turn left on Gazi Street. The museum is located at Gazi Sk. No:4, just about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.

    If you prefer to take a taxi from Göreme, you can find taxis near the main square or call one from your hotel. The taxi ride to Cappadocia Art & History Museum in Mustafapaşa will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Just provide the driver with the address: Yukarı mevkii, Gazi Sk. No:4, 50420 Mustafapaşa/Ürgüp/Nevşehir.
