Walking
If you are in Ortahisar, you can walk to the Hot Air Balloon landing site. Start at Ortahisar Castle, which is a popular landmark. Head south on the main street (Eski) for about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the signs that indicate the direction towards the Hot Air Balloon landing area. The landing site is situated at JVFC+Q5, which is not far from Ortahisar. After approximately 15-20 minutes, you will arrive at the landing site.

Public Transport
From Göreme, take a local bus heading towards Ürgüp. It’s a short ride, about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Ürgüp, get off at the main bus station. From there, you can either walk or catch a taxi to the Hot Air Balloon landing area, which is about a 10-minute drive (approximately 5 kilometers). If walking, head towards Ortahisar on the main road, and look for directional signs indicating the landing area as you approach.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hail a taxi from any location in Cappadocia. Simply provide the driver with the address: Eski, JVFC+Q5, 50650 Ortahisar/Ürgüp/Nevşehir. The taxi ride from Göreme or Ürgüp should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis are a convenient way to ensure you reach the exact location without any hassle.
