Getting There

Metro
If you are near the Taksim area, head to the Taksim Metro Station. Take the M2 line towards Yenikapı. After 4 stops, get off at Vezneciler Station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the direction of the street signs leading to Beyazıt. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Istanbul University, which is located in Beyazıt.

If you're in the Sultanahmet area, walk to the Sultanahmet Tram Station. Take the T1 tram line towards Bağcılar. Get off at the Beyazıt-Kapalıçarşı stop. From there, you can walk a short distance to Istanbul University; just follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

If you find yourself near Taksim Square, you can take bus number 28 or 30 from the Taksim bus stop. These buses will take you to the Beyazıt area. Get off at the Beyazıt stop and walk a few minutes towards the university.

If you are staying in the Beyoğlu area, you can easily walk to Istanbul University. Head towards the Galata Bridge and cross it. Continue straight until you reach the Fatih district. Follow the signs to Beyazıt, and you will arrive at the university in approximately 25 minutes.

For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app. Simply enter 'Istanbul University, Beyazıt' as your destination. The drivers are familiar with the area and will take you directly to the university campus.
