Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are starting from Taksim Square, walk to the Taksim Tram Station. Take the T1 tram line towards Kabataş and get off at the Eminönü stop. From Eminönü, you can walk to the Ecumenical Patriarchate. Head west towards the Galata Bridge, cross it, and then take a left onto Dr. Sadık Ahmet Cad. Follow this road until you reach Yavuz Sultan Selim Mah. where the Patriarchate is located at Dr. Sadık Ahmet Cad. Nr. 19.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From Sultanahmet, walk to the Sultanahmet Tram Station and take the T1 tram towards Kabataş. Get off at the Aksaray stop and transfer to Bus 28, heading towards Topkapı. Once on the bus, get off at the Fatih stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk. Head northeast on Dr. Sadık Ahmet Cad. until you reach the Ecumenical Patriarchate at Nr. 19.

    If you are near the historic Sultanahmet area, you can walk to the Ecumenical Patriarchate. Head north towards the Sirkeci area, then continue straight until you reach the intersection with Dr. Sadık Ahmet Cad. Turn left and walk about 10 minutes. The Patriarchate will be on your left at Dr. Sadık Ahmet Cad. Nr. 19.
