Public Transport - Tram
If you're starting from Taksim Square, take the F1 funicular line to Kabataş. From Kabataş, transfer to the T1 tram line towards Bağcılar. Ride the tram for about 10 minutes and get off at Sultanahmet station. From there, walk towards the Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan Sarnıcı), which is located on Yerebatan Street.
