Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are starting from Taksim Square, walk to the Taksim tram station and take the T4 tram towards Kabataş. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the Kabataş stop. From there, transfer to the F1 funicular line towards Taksim and get off at the Fındıklı stop. Exit the station and walk towards the Bosphorus. Head towards the Karaköy district. You can take a bus or walk along the waterfront until you reach Eminönü. At Eminönü, you can either walk to the Sultanahmet area or take the tram (T1) towards Bağcılar. Get off at the Sultanahmet stop, which is only a few minutes' walk to the III. Ahmet Fountain.

    If you are already in the Sultanahmet area, the III. Ahmet Fountain is a short walk from popular landmarks like the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. From the Blue Mosque, head towards the direction of the Hippodrome and walk past the Obelisk of Theodosius. Continue straight until you reach the end of the Hippodrome, where the III.
