Bus
From Pamukkale, head to the Pamukkale bus station located near the entrance to the travertines. Purchase a ticket to Karacasu, which is the nearest town to Aphrodisias. Buses to Karacasu typically leave every hour. The journey takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Karacasu bus station, you will need to take a local dolmuş (minibus) to Geyre. Let the driver know you are going to Geyre, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop to Aphrodisias Stadium.

Dolmuş
After reaching Karacasu, look for the dolmuş station near the bus terminal. Dolmuşes to Geyre are fairly frequent, and the fare is very affordable. The ride to Geyre will take about 15 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to go to Aphrodisias, and they will drop you off close to the entrance of the archaeological site. Be sure to check the dolmuş schedule for the return trip to ensure you have a way back to Karacasu.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from the dolmuş drop-off point in Geyre. From there, follow the signs towards the Aphrodisias site, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. The path is scenic, so enjoy the beautiful countryside as you make your way to the stadium. Stay on the main road and look for the entrance sign to Aphrodisias.
