Car
From Bukedi, head northwest on the main road towards Jinja. Take the A-1 road heading north. Follow the A-1 for about 190 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Murchison Falls National Park. The entrance to the park is well marked. You will need to pay the entrance fee, which is approximately $40 for foreign tourists. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Murchison Falls, which is located a few kilometers from the entrance.
Public Transportation
Take a matatu (shared taxi) from Bukedi to Gulu. The matatu will drop you off at the Gulu bus station. From Gulu, you can catch another matatu or bus heading to Masindi, which is the nearest town to Murchison Falls. The fare to Masindi is around $5. Once in Masindi, you can hire a taxi or join a tour group that offers transportation to Murchison Falls. The entrance fee to the park will be applicable, which is about $40 for foreign tourists. Make sure to confirm the schedule for the last matatus back to Gulu or Masindi to avoid being stranded.
