From any location within Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, head towards the main road leading out of the park. Follow the signs to Kisoro or Kihihi. Once you reach the junction at Kihihi, take the turnoff towards Ishasha (this is well-marked). Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the Bukorwe Ridge area. Look for local signage indicating Bukorwe Ridge or ask locals for assistance if needed.

Public Transportation
To use public transportation, you can catch a matatu (shared taxi) from any major point in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park towards Kihihi. The fare typically ranges from 10,000 to 15,000 UGX depending on your location. Once you arrive at Kihihi, you can either hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) or wait for a local taxi to take you to the Bukorwe Ridge area. The boda-boda fare should be around 5,000 to 10,000 UGX.

If you are already in Kihihi and prefer a quicker option, you can hire a boda-boda to Bukorwe Ridge. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be around 10,000 to 20,000 UGX depending on the distance and your negotiation skills. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions.
