If you are starting from the center of Fort Portal, head east on Main Street until you reach the junction with Nyabuguuru Road. Turn left onto Nyabuguuru Road and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kabarole Road. Follow Kabarole Road for about 1 kilometer until you reach a T-junction. Here, you will see signs pointing towards Tooro Botanical Gardens. Turn left onto Njara Road and walk straight for approximately 500 meters. The entrance to Tooro Botanical Gardens will be on your right, at Plot 2 - 8 Njara Road.

From Fort Portal town center, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by riding east along Main Street until you reach the intersection with Nyabuguuru Road. Turn left and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kabarole Road. Keep pedaling for about 1 kilometer and look for a T-junction.
