Getting There
Walking
Start from the center of Gulu town. Head south on the main road, which is known as Gulu - Kampala Road. Continue walking until you reach the junction at the Gulu Referral Hospital. From there, turn onto the road that leads to the south, which is marked for Aruu Falls. Keep walking straight for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the signs directing you to Aruu Falls Campsite. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the campsite.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Gulu. Start at the town center and cycle south on Gulu - Kampala Road. After about 3 kilometers, take a left turn where you see the sign for Aruu Falls. Continue on this road for another 2 kilometers until you spot the entrance to Aruu Falls Campsite on your right.
Motorbike Taxi
Find a local 'boda boda' (motorbike taxi) stand in Gulu town. Tell the driver you want to go to Aruu Falls Campsite. The drivers are familiar with the location. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. They will drop you off at the entrance of the campsite.
