Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near the Jinja Central Market, start at the main entrance and head south on Main Street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Jinja Bridge Road. Turn left onto Jinja Bridge Road and walk for another 5 minutes. You will see the Mahatma Gandhi Monument on your right, just before you reach the Nile River.

    From the Jinja Sailing Club, head east on Nile Avenue. Follow the road as it curves to the right and becomes Main Street. Pedal straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Jinja Bridge Road. Turn left onto Jinja Bridge Road and continue for another 500 meters. The Mahatma Gandhi Monument will be on your right, just before the river.
