Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From the center of Entebbe, head northeast on Airport Road. Follow the road for about 7 kilometers until you reach the junction where it meets the Kampala-Jinja highway. Turn left onto the highway and continue for approximately 36 kilometers. As you approach Jinja, look for signs directing you to the Source of the Nile. You will see signs for Cliff Road. Turn right onto Cliff Road, and follow it until you reach the entrance to the Source of the Nile (Nile Fount Excursion Adventures).

  • Public Transport (Matatu)

    From Entebbe, go to the main bus station located near the Entebbe Taxi Park. Board a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Jinja. The journey typically takes about 1 hour and costs around 10,000 UGX. Once you arrive in Jinja, ask the conductor to drop you off at the main Jinja bus terminal. From there, you can take a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to Cliff Road. The ride should take about 10 minutes; just inform the driver that you are going to the Source of the Nile. They will know the exact location.
