Walking
From the center of Jinja, head towards the Jinja Main Market. Once you reach the market, locate the main road leading out of the market area towards the Nile River. Follow the road past the market until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Ssezibwa Falls Rd. Continue walking straight on this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several small shops and local eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the signposts indicating Ssezibwa Falls. The falls will be on your left side as you approach the area.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Jinja Main Market. After renting, head out towards the Nile River and follow the same route as if you were walking. Biking will allow you to cover the distance more quickly. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Ssezibwa Falls Rd and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. Remember to keep your bicycle close to the side of the road and be cautious of pedestrians.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
For a faster option, you can take a boda boda. Head to the nearest boda boda stage, which you can find near the Jinja Main Market. Inform the driver that you want to go to Ssezibwa Falls Rd. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the falls. Make sure to agree on the fare before getting on the boda boda.
