Boda Boda
If you are in the center of Kampala, you can take a Boda Boda (motorcycle taxi) to Entebbe. Head to any nearby Boda Boda stage and tell the driver you want to go to Nakiwogo Rd in Entebbe. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Please ensure you negotiate the fare before starting your trip, which should be around 30,000 to 50,000 UGX depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Nakiwogo Rd, ask the driver to drop you off near the Shoebill Uganda Tours Mabamba Swamp.

Matatu
From Kampala, locate a matatu (shared minibus) heading to Entebbe. You can find these at the main bus terminals like the Old Taxi Park. Board the matatu, and it should take you directly to Entebbe, costing about 2,000 UGX. Once you reach Entebbe, get off at the main bus stage. From there, you can either walk or take a Boda Boda to Nakiwogo Rd, which is about 2 kilometers away. If walking, head south towards the lake, and then turn left on Nakiwogo Rd until you reach your destination.

If you are already in Entebbe, you can walk to Shoebill Uganda Tours Mabamba Swamp. Starting from the Entebbe International Airport, exit the airport and head towards the main road. Turn right onto the main road and continue until you reach Nakiwogo Rd. The swamp is approximately a 30-minute walk from the airport. Look for signs directing you towards the Mabamba Swamp, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
