Walking
From the central area of Kololo, head towards the main road, Jinja Road. Walk along Jinja Road until you reach the intersection with Lubiri Ring Road. Take a left onto Lubiri Ring Road. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. Kabaka's Palace will be on your right, marked by a large gate and a sign for 'The Twekobe'.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
Find a nearby boda boda stand in Kololo. Negotiate a fare (usually between 1,000 to 5,000 UGX) to Kabaka's Palace. Inform the rider to take you to 'The Twekobe, Lubiri Ring Road'. The ride should take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure you wear a helmet for safety, which should be provided by the rider.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Kololo. Follow the same route as walking: head towards Jinja Road, take a left onto Lubiri Ring Road, and cycle for about 1 kilometer. Be cautious of traffic while riding, and park your bicycle securely upon arrival at Kabaka's Palace.
Public Transport (Matatu)
Walk to the nearest matatu stop in Kololo. Look for a matatu heading towards Rubaga or Lubaga. Board the matatu (fare typically 1,000 to 2,000 UGX) and inform the conductor you are going to Kabaka's Palace. Get off at the Lubiri Ring Road stop, and walk approximately 5 minutes to the palace entrance, which will be on your right.
