If you are starting from the center of Kampala, head towards the Old Taxi Park located near the Kampala Road. From there, look for a taxi heading to Rubaga. Inform the driver that you want to go to St Mary's Cathedral and they will drop you off at the nearest point. Once you are off the taxi, walk up Mutesa Road, following the signs for Rubaga Hill. The cathedral is situated on a hill above you. You'll see the impressive structure as you ascend. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the taxi drop-off point.

Find a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) stand in the city center. Tell the boda boda rider to take you to St Mary's Cathedral Rubaga. They will know the location. It’s a quick ride, typically taking about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Be sure to wear a helmet, which the boda boda rider will provide. They will drop you off just outside the cathedral.

If you arrive at the Rubaga Bus Park, exit the park and head towards the main road (Mutesa Road). From there, turn left and walk straight. The cathedral will be on your right as you walk up Mutesa Road. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to reach the cathedral from the bus park.
