Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Kampala City Centre, head towards the main road, Jinja Road. Once you reach the junction where Jinja Road intersects with Speke Road, take a left onto Speke Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Parliamentary Avenue. Turn right onto Parliamentary Avenue. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters, and you will see The Parliament of Uganda on your right, easily recognizable by its large building and flag.

Bicycle
Starting from the Kampala City Centre, you can rent a bicycle at one of the local rental shops. Head towards Jinja Road and follow the same route as if you were walking. After turning left onto Speke Road, cycle straight until you reach the intersection with Parliamentary Avenue. Turn right and cycle for about 500 meters. The Parliament will be on your right side. Make sure to use the bicycle lanes where available for a safer ride.

Public Transport (Boda Boda)
Find a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) stand in the Kampala City Centre. Inform the driver that you would like to go to The Parliament of Uganda. They will take you through the city; it usually takes about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Parliament Avenue, where you can walk a short distance to the main entrance.

Public Transport (Matatu)
Locate a matatu (shared minibus) that operates along Jinja Road. Board a matatu heading towards Jinja but ask the conductor to drop you off at the Speke Road junction. Once you get off, walk towards the intersection of Speke Road and Parliamentary Avenue, and turn right. Continue walking for about 500 meters, and you will reach The Parliament of Uganda on your right.
