Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Masaka, head towards the main road (Masaka-Kampala Road). Walk east until you reach the junction with the Masaka-Kampala Road. This should take approximately 10-15 minutes. At the junction, take a left onto Masaka-Kampala Road and walk for about 500 meters until you reach the bus stage. Here, you can catch a shared taxi heading towards Kampala.

    Once you are at the bus stage, board a shared taxi going to Kampala. The journey will take around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Namugongo. You will be dropped off near the main road where you'll see signs for the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine.
