If you're driving from any location in Northern Region, head south towards Fort Portal. Use the main road (A109) which connects various towns in Northern Uganda. You will pass through towns such as Lira and Pakwach. As you approach Fort Portal, follow signs to Kibale National Park. The park entrance is approximately 26 km from Fort Portal, which you can access by continuing along the A109 until you reach the junction for Kibale Forest.

Common departure points are Lira or Gulu, with buses available from companies such as GAAGAA or Link Bus Services.
