If you are driving from Gulu, take the Gulu-Kampala Road (A-1) heading south. Continue for about 125 km until you reach the junction in Koro. Turn left onto the Gulu-Mukono Road (A-109) and drive for approximately 75 km. You will pass through towns like Nwoya and Pakwach. Once you reach Nyakalengija, look for local signs directing you to Mount Gessi. The final part of the journey is on a dirt road that may require a 4x4 vehicle. Watch out for local traffic and ask locals for directions if unsure.

From Gulu, you can take a shared taxi or bus heading to Nyakalengija. Look for taxis departing from the Gulu bus station. The fare should be around 10,000 UGX (about $3 USD).
