Car
If you are driving to Bakijjulula Gardens, start from the main town of Kalangala. Head north on the main road, following signs for Nkumba. Continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction at VQJV+Q6. Turn left and drive for another 5 kilometers. You will see signs leading to Bakijjulula Gardens. The gardens will be on your right side. Ensure you have enough fuel as there are limited refueling stations along this route.
Public Transportation
To reach Bakijjulula Gardens using public transportation, first, find a taxi or motorcycle taxi (boda boda) in Kalangala. Request to be taken to Ntale. The fare may vary, but expect to pay around 5,000 to 10,000 UGX depending on your negotiation skills and time of day. Once you arrive in Ntale, you can either walk the approximate 1 kilometer to Bakijjulula Gardens or hire a boda boda for a short ride. Look for signs directing you to the gardens, which will be on your right.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Ntale, you can walk to Bakijjulula Gardens. From the center of Ntale, head east towards the main road. Walk approximately 1 kilometer along the road until you see the entrance to Bakijjulula Gardens on your right. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially in the midday sun.
