Car
If you're traveling by car, make your way to Mbarara-Kasese Road. From Mbarara town, head towards Kasese on the Mbarara-Kasese Road (also known as the A104). Continue driving for approximately 20 kilometers. Look for a sign for Katuguru Trading Center. Once you reach the center, drive 200 meters behind it, and you will find Engiri Game Lodge. Make sure to keep an eye on your GPS for exact navigation.
Public Transport
To reach Engiri Game Lodge using public transport, take a taxi (shared minibus) from Mbarara to Kasese. These taxis frequently leave from the main taxi park in Mbarara. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at Katuguru Trading Center. The fare is typically around 5,000 UGX. Once you arrive at Katuguru Trading Center, you can walk 200 meters behind the center to reach Engiri Game Lodge. If you have heavy luggage, you may want to negotiate with a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) for a short ride to the lodge, which should cost around 2,000-3,000 UGX.
Boda-Boda
If you're already at Katuguru Trading Center and prefer a quicker option, you can hire a boda-boda to take you to Engiri Game Lodge. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey, and expect to pay around 2,000-3,000 UGX for the short ride of about 5 minutes.
