If you are traveling by car, start from the centre of Holyhead. Head south on Market Street/A5, following signs for A55. Continue on A5 for about 2 miles until you reach the junction for Holyhead Mountain. Turn right onto Holyhead Mountain Road, which leads directly to the car park at the mountain's base. Parking is free, but please note that there may be limited spaces during peak tourist season.

To reach Holyhead Mountain using public transport, take a bus from any location in Anglesey to Holyhead. The bus services such as Arriva Cymru operate routes to Holyhead. Once in Holyhead, you can either walk (about 30 minutes from the bus station) or take a taxi to Holyhead Mountain. If walking, head south on Market Street and follow the directions as mentioned above. A taxi from the bus station to the mountain may cost around £10-£15.

For those already in Holyhead and looking for a scenic walk, you can start from the Holyhead Harbour. Walk along the waterfront towards the South Stack Lighthouse. From the lighthouse, follow the coastal path that leads you up to Holyhead Mountain. This route provides stunning views of the coastline and is approximately 2 miles long, taking about 1 hour to walk.
