If you are driving from anywhere in Argyllshire, take the A82 road towards Dumbarton. From Dumbarton, merge onto the A8 towards Greenock. Follow the A8 until you reach the Greenock area. Take the exit for the A770 towards Greenock. Continue on the A770, which will lead you to Eldon Street. Battery Park is located at Eldon Street, Greenock PA16 7QG. There is usually free parking available in the vicinity, but be sure to check for any parking signs.

From there, it's approximately a 20-minute walk to Battery Park along the waterfront.
