Car
Driving from Glasgow, the castle is approximately 1.5 hours via the A77 southbound. Note that Glenapp Castle is not signposted from the main road, and access is through electronically controlled gates requiring a reservation. Parking is available on-site free of charge.
Train and Transfer
The nearest train station is Ayr, about 30 miles away. From Ayr, pre-arranged car transfers or taxis take approximately 45 minutes to reach Glenapp Castle. Advance booking for transfers is recommended.
Air Travel
Glasgow International Airport is about 1.5 hours by car, while Glasgow Prestwick Airport is approximately 1 hour away. The castle can arrange airport transfers by taxi, executive car, limousine, or helicopter. Helicopter landing facilities are available on-site.
