If you're traveling by car, start your journey in Ayrshire. Take the A77 road south towards Girvan. Continue on the A77 for approximately 25 miles until you reach the town of Girvan. From Girvan, take the A714 towards Ballantrae. After around 6 miles, you will see signs for Glenapp Castle. The castle is located on the left side of the road at Glenapp Castle, Ballantrae, Girvan KA26 0NZ. There is parking available on-site.

For those using public transportation, take a train from Ayr station to Girvan. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Girvan station, you can catch a bus towards Ballantrae. The bus will drop you off near Ballantrae, and from there, it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to Glenapp Castle. Please note that the bus fare is approximately £2-£3.
