Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from anywhere in Ayrshire, navigate to the A78 road heading towards Troon. If you're coming from Ayr, take the A79 towards Troon. Once you reach Troon, follow signs for the beach. As you approach the town center, keep an eye out for St Meddans Road. Turn onto St Meddans and you will find Troon Beach located at the end of the road. Parking is available along the street near the beach, but be aware that there may be parking fees depending on the duration of your stay.

  • Public Transport - Train

    For those using public transportation, take a train from Ayr Station to Troon Station. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes, and the journey takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Troon Station, exit the station and walk towards the coast. Follow the signs for Troon Beach, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head down Station Road, then turn onto St Meddans, which will lead you directly to the beach.
