Walking
Start at Bath Abbey, located in the city center of Bath. From the Abbey, head west on Abbey Churchyard toward the High Street. Turn left onto High Street and continue until you reach the junction with Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street, and cross the bridge over the River Avon. Continue straight onto Northgate Street, which will lead you to the A4 road. At the A4, turn left and follow the road out of Bath. This route will take you past the Bath Spa Railway Station, which you can use as a landmark. Continue walking along the A4 for about 5 miles, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to Marlborough. You will eventually reach Marlborough. Marlborough Mound is located on the A4 road, and you can find it by looking for the signs indicating historical landmarks in the area.
