From Calne, take the A4 towards Chippenham. After approximately 2 miles, follow the signs for Cherhill. Turn right onto the B4069 and continue for about half a mile. You will see signs for Oldbury Castle Hillfort. There is limited parking available near the site. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, so be prepared with change or a card.

Start your journey at Calne bus station. Take the bus service towards Chippenham (check local timetables for the latest service). Get off at the nearest stop to Cherhill. From there, it's roughly a 20-minute walk to Oldbury Castle Hillfort. Follow the signs as you walk towards the hillfort, which is well-marked. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
