Getting There

  • Car

    From Brecon Beacons National Park, head southeast on the A470 towards Cardiff for approximately 20 miles. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A465 towards Merthyr Tydfil. Continue for about 6 miles, then merge onto the A4042 towards Newport. Follow the A4042 for approximately 15 miles, then take the exit towards Caerleon. Follow signs for Caerleon and Broadway, where the Roman Amphitheater is located. There is parking available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.

    From Brecon, take the bus service (such as the T4) to Newport. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
