If you are driving, head towards the A4086 road. From Caernarfon, take the A487 towards Llanberis. Continue on A487 until you reach the junction with A4086. Turn left onto A4086 and follow the road for approximately 4 miles. Dolbadarn Castle will be on your left-hand side, clearly marked with signs. There is parking available nearby, but please check for any parking fees.

To reach Dolbadarn Castle using public transport, take a bus from Caernarfon to Llanberis. Buses such as the 'T2' operate this route frequently. Once you arrive in Llanberis, disembark at the bus stop near the main road. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Dolbadarn Castle. Head towards the A4086 and follow the signs to the castle. Be aware that the last bus back to Caernarfon usually leaves early in the evening, so plan accordingly.
