By Car
From Caernarfon, take the A487 road and head southeast towards Porthmadog. Continue on the A487 until you reach the junction with the A5. Merge onto the A5 and follow the signs for Chirk. After approximately 40 miles, you will arrive at Chirk Castle. There is a parking area available on-site. Note that parking may incur a fee.

From Caernarfon, take a bus to Wrexham. You can catch the T1 or T1C service from the Caernarfon bus station. The journey takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Wrexham, switch to the X94 bus towards Chirk. This bus will take you to Chirk village, which is approximately 1 mile from Chirk Castle.
