Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any point within Cairngorms National Park and head towards the A9 road. From Aviemore, take the A95 south to join the A9. Continue southbound on the A9 for approximately 30 miles. Take the exit for A823 towards Blair Atholl. Follow the A823 for about 3 miles until you reach Blair Atholl. Look for signs for Blair Castle, which will be on your left. There is a parking area available near the castle, which is free of charge.

If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a bus or train to Pitlochry, which is the closest town to Blair Castle. From Aviemore, take a train to Pitlochry (you may need to change trains at Perth) or take a bus from Aviemore to Pitlochry. Once in Pitlochry, you can take a local bus (number 23) to Blair Atholl.
