If you're driving from locations within Cairngorms National Park, head towards the A9 road. From Aviemore, take the A95 towards Grantown-on-Spey, then merge onto the A9 southbound. Follow the A9 for approximately 30 miles and take the exit toward Pitlochry. Once in Pitlochry, follow signs for the Fish Ladder. The fish ladder is located at 56.6989° N, 3.7402° W, near the town center and there is parking available nearby. Note that parking might incur a fee depending on the time of year.

To reach Pitlochry Fish Ladder via train, take a train from Aviemore or other nearby towns to Pitlochry station. The journey from Aviemore to Pitlochry takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Pitlochry station, exit the station and walk approximately 15 minutes to the Fish Ladder.
