As you approach Tongue, follow the signs to Castle Varrich. There is a small car park near the castle where you can leave your vehicle. There are no parking fees.

To reach Castle Varrich using public transport, take a train or bus to Lairg. From Lairg, you can catch the number 10 bus to Tongue. The bus journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Tongue, the castle is about a 20-minute walk. Follow the main road through Tongue and then take the path leading up to Castle Varrich.
