If you are starting from the Cambridge city center, head towards the Market Square. From the Market Square, walk towards the side of the square where the Great St Mary's Church is located. You will see the church's tall tower in the distance. Walk down Sidney Street, which will lead you directly towards Senate House Hill. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection at the top of the hill, and you will see Great St Mary's at your right, located on Senate House Hill, Cambridge CB2 3PQ.

If you are at the Cambridge Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto Station Road. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto Hills Road. Continue walking on Hills Road until you reach the junction with Regent Street. Turn right onto Regent Street and then take a left onto St. Andrew's Street. Continue straight until you reach the Market Square, then follow the previous walking directions towards Great St Mary's.

If you are near the River Cam, walk towards Magdalene Bridge. Cross the bridge and head towards the city center. Once you reach the Market Square, follow the directions from there to Great St Mary's by walking down Sidney Street and then Senate House Hill.
