From Cardiff city center, head to the Cardiff Central Bus Station. Look for bus services heading towards Usk or Raglan. You can take the 'X5' or 'X3' bus services, which regularly run to Usk. The journey takes approximately 40-60 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Raglan Castle. Once you get off, it's a short 10-minute walk along Castle Rd to reach the castle.

Make your way to Cardiff Central Train Station. From there, take a train towards Abergavenny. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the Usk train station. From Usk station, you can either take a local taxi or check for any available bus services heading towards Raglan. If you choose to walk, it’s about a 30-40 minute walk from Usk to Raglan Castle, following the main road towards Raglan.
