  From Chester, take the A51 road heading south towards Nantwich. Continue on the A51 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the roundabout at the A534. Take the second exit onto the A534 towards Wrexham. After about 5 miles, turn left onto the B5069 towards Malpas. Follow this road for about 2 miles until you see signs for Cholmondeley Castle Gardens on your right. There is a car park available at the gardens, which may incur a small fee.

Once you arrive at Nantwich, transfer to the bus service (Service 70) towards Malpas. The bus journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Cholmondeley Castle stop. The gardens are a short walk from the bus stop, following the signs to Cholmondeley Castle Gardens. Note that bus services may have limited schedules, especially on weekends, so check ahead.
