The house then transitioned from a private residence to an educational institution, becoming Walmoor College, a girls’ school, and at one point was known as Hampton House School, a boarding and day school for boys. Later, the building served as the headquarters for the Cheshire Fire Brigade until 1997, reflecting its adaptability and continued importance in the community over the decades.
