Disembark at the stop for 'Chester Zoo'. From there, walk south on the A41 for about 15 minutes until you reach the roundabout. Continue on the A41, and then take the first left onto Chester Road. Follow this road for another 10-15 minutes until you reach the entrance to Walmoor Hill (Douglas Castle).

If you prefer to walk, start at Chester Cathedral. Head southeast on St Werburgh Street towards the A5268. Turn right onto the A5268 and continue straight for about 1.5 miles. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A41. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Chester Road. Continue walking for another 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at Walmoor Hill (Douglas Castle) on your right.

For those cycling, you can rent a bike from Chester City Centre. Head out of the city via the Chester Greenway, which is a safe cycle route. Follow the Greenway until you reach the A41. Turn right onto the A41 and cycle for about 2 miles. When you get to the roundabout, take the first exit onto Chester Road and continue for another mile. Walmoor Hill (Douglas Castle) will be on your right.
