If you are starting from Chester city centre, head south towards the River Dee. Walk along Eastgate Street until you reach the junction with Bridge Street. Turn left onto Bridge Street and continue straight until you reach the bridge over the River Dee. Cross the River Dee on the bridge, enjoying the views. After crossing, take a right onto The Groves, which runs alongside the river. Continue walking along The Groves until you reach the end, then turn left onto St. Mary's Hill. Continue straight, and you will reach St. Mary's Hill, where The Dean Addleshaw Tower is located. It should now be visible ahead.

From Chester Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the city centre. Walk straight down Station Road until you reach the junction with Hoole Road. Turn left onto Hoole Road and continue straight, passing through the shopping area. Once you reach the city centre, follow the signs for the Cathedral. Head towards St. Werburgh Street, which will lead you towards the Cathedral area. Continue on this road until you reach St. Mary's Hill, where The Dean Addleshaw Tower is located.
