If you are in Chester city centre, start at the Chester Cathedral. Head east on Abbey Square towards the Cathedral. Continue straight onto St. Werburgh Street, passing the Town Hall on your left. At the end of St. Werburgh Street, turn right onto Eastgate Street. Walk straight until you reach the Eastgate Clock, a famous landmark. From the Eastgate Clock, head straight onto Bridge Street and cross the River Dee via the bridge. Once you cross the river, follow the path along the riverbank until you reach the entrance to the Garden of the Honourable Cheshire Regiment on your left.

Walking
Another route is to start from the Chester Railway Station. Exit the station and head northwest along Station Road. Continue onto Hoole Way and follow it until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the A5116 and follow it until you reach the River Dee. Cross the river via the bridge, and after crossing, turn left to follow the riverbank. Keep walking until you see the entrance to the Garden of the Honourable Cheshire Regiment on your left.

If you prefer taking a bus, you can catch a bus from the Chester Bus Interchange. Look for buses heading towards the Fountains or City Centre. Get off at the stop nearest to the Eastgate Clock. From there, follow the same walking directions as mentioned earlier: head straight onto Bridge Street, cross the River Dee, and follow the riverbank until you reach the Garden of the Honourable Cheshire Regiment.
