From the city center, head to the bus stop at St Andrew Square. Take bus number 3 or 33 towards 'Tollcross' or 'Brunstane'. Get off at the stop labeled 'Innocent Railway'. The Innocent Railway Tunnel is a short walk from the bus stop. Walk south on Innocent Railway and follow the path that leads to the tunnel entrance.

If you prefer walking, start from Princes Street, the main shopping street in Edinburgh. Walk east towards North Bridge, then continue down the Royal Mile until you reach the Canongate. Turn left onto Holyrood Road and head towards Holyrood Park. Follow the path leading to the Innocent Railway Tunnel, which is located at the southern edge of Holyrood Park. The tunnel entrance is clearly marked along the path.

From the city center, head to the tram stop at York Place. Take the tram towards 'Newhaven'. Get off at the 'St Andrew Square' stop.
