If you are in the city center, start at the Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station. Exit the station onto Market Street and turn left. Walk straight until you reach the junction with East Princes Street Gardens. Cross the road towards the gardens and continue walking north along the gardens. You will see the Scott Monument ahead. The Witches Well is located at the foot of the Scott Monument, just a short walk from the gardens.

From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch any bus heading towards the Old Town. Look for buses that go to 'High Street' or 'Royal Mile'. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the Royal Mile and head towards the Scott Monument. The Witches Well is nearby at the base of the monument.

If you're near a tram stop, take the tram towards York Place. Get off at the 'St Andrew Square' stop. From there, walk towards the east end of Princes Street and then head into the Princes Street Gardens. Walk north towards the Scott Monument, and the Witches Well is located at the foot of the monument.
