If you're driving from the center of Enniskillen, head northwest on the A4 towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A32. Continue on the A32 for about 5 miles, then take the left turn onto the B82. Follow the B82 for approximately 2 miles until you reach the sign for Castle Island. Turn right and follow the road to the parking area near the island. There are no parking fees.

To reach Castle Island using public transport, start from Enniskillen bus station. Take the bus to Irvinestown, which is operated by Translink. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once in Irvinestown, you will need to take a taxi to Castle Island. Taxis are available at the bus stop, and the fare is approximately £10. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know the location before you depart.

If you are already in Enniskillen and prefer to walk, head towards the waterfront area and follow the lakeside path. It will take about 45 minutes to reach Castle Island on foot, covering roughly 2 miles. The path is scenic along the way, leading you through lovely views of the water.
