Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Cardiff city center. From the M4 motorway, take exit 29 towards A48(M) Cardiff. Follow signs for A4232 towards Cardiff Bay. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A4232. Continue straight until you see signs for Cardiff Bay. Take the exit towards Cardiff Bay and follow the signs for 'Cardiff Waterside'. There is parking available near Assembly Square, but be mindful of parking fees which can range from £1.50 to £3.00 per hour.

• Train

  For those using public transport, take a train to Cardiff Central Station. From Cardiff Central, exit the station and head towards the bus station located adjacent to it. You can take the Cardiff Bay shuttle bus (Service number 6 or 7) which runs every 10-15 minutes to Cardiff Bay. The bus will stop at various points including Assembly Square. The fare for the bus is approximately £1.20 one-way.

• Bus

  Alternatively, if you're near the Cardiff city center, you can catch a bus directly to Cardiff Bay. Bus services such as the 9 and 95 operate frequently from the city center and will take you directly to the Bay area. Make sure to check the latest bus schedules as they can vary, and the fare is typically around £1.50.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Cardiff Bay area, Cardiff Waterside is within walking distance from various attractions such as the Wales Millennium Centre. Simply head towards Assembly Square by following the waterfront path, enjoying the views along the way. It’s a pleasant walk that takes around 15 minutes from the Millennium Centre.
