If you're traveling by car, start your journey on the M5 motorway. Take the exit for Gloucester (Junction 11A) and follow the A40 towards Gloucester. Continue on the A40, which will eventually merge with the A430. Follow signs for the city center. Once in Gloucester, take the A430 towards the city center and then turn onto Brunswick Road. The Museum of Gloucester is located at Brunswick Rd, Gloucester GL1 1HP. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to find street parking or use nearby car parks, which may incur a fee.

If you're using the train, head to Gloucester Railway Station. Trains run frequently from various locations in Gloucestershire, including Cheltenham and Stroud. Once you arrive at Gloucester Station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. The museum is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station. Head down Bruton Way, turn left onto Commercial Road, and then follow the signs to Brunswick Road. The museum will be on your right.

For bus travelers, you can take a local bus that services Gloucester city center. Several bus routes stop near the Museum of Gloucester. If you are coming from Cheltenham, you can take the Stagecoach bus number 94, which will take you directly to the city center. Once you arrive, disembark at the city center bus stop and walk towards Brunswick Road, which is a short distance away. The museum will be located on your left.
