After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto the B865, which is also signposted for Ness Islands. Continue straight for approximately 0.5 miles, and you'll find the entrance to the Ness Islands car park on your left. Note that parking fees may apply, so ensure you have some change or a card. From the car park, it's a short walk to the islands.

For those using public transport, take the Stagecoach Highland bus service from Inverness Bus Station. Look for bus routes 1 or 2 heading towards the city center. You will need to get off at the 'Inverness, Macdonalds' stop. From there, walk towards the River Ness, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Cross the bridge and follow the signs to Ness Islands. This route is scenic, and you can enjoy the views along the river during your walk.
