If you are in the city center of Inverness, start at the Eastgate Shopping Centre. Exit the shopping center and head towards the River Ness. Once you reach the river, turn left and follow the riverside pathway. The walk will take you along the scenic River Ness, and you will see the Ness Bridge ahead. The bridge is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Eastgate Shopping Centre.

From Inverness Castle, walk down Castle Street towards the river. Turn left onto the riverbank path, which is well-marked and offers beautiful views. Continue walking along the path until you reach the Ness Bridge, which is about a 15-minute walk from the castle.

If you are further out, take any bus heading towards the city center. Alight at the Eastgate Shopping Centre stop. From there, follow the walking directions to Ness Bridge as described above. Buses run frequently, and you can check local schedules for times.
