If you are traveling by car, start from Portree, the largest town on the Isle of Skye. Head south on the A87 road, following the signs towards Kyle of Lochalsh. After approximately 20 miles, you will pass through the small village of Broadford. Continue on the A87 for another 5 miles. Look for a small parking area on your left, just before the Allt Dubh View Point. The viewpoint is located at approximately latitude 57.3058013 and longitude -6.1878052. There are no parking fees, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

To reach Allt Dubh View Point using public transport, take a bus from Portree to Broadford. The bus service is operated by Stagecoach and runs several times a day; check the latest schedule for exact times. Once you arrive in Broadford, you can either walk or take a taxi to the viewpoint, which is about 5 miles away along the A87. Taxis can be found at the bus stop or can be called in advance. The bus fare from Portree to Broadford is approximately £6.00. Be sure to check the bus return schedule if you plan to come back to Portree.
